They're calling in reinforcements!
One baby bunny is holed up in the siding that butts up against our front steps. My militant dog has sniffed out the enemy, but no amount of snorting will bring it out.
One large rabbit was spying on my backyard this morning, while another young one leisurely munched grass in full view of my "militant" "guard" dog.
This evening three good-sized rabbits hopped across our back yard hill as if there were no threat.
I sent the dog out after them.
There was no threat.
Dumb "dog."

Have you thought about using human hair around the garden or the yard? I heard that works pretty good.

Shawna, thanks for the suggestion. I don't think it will work, though, because we have put dog hair all over, and the darn things hop among the dog poop. If that's not smellier than my hair, well . . .
