No More Rabbits Here
I put chicken wire around my little garden on Monday night. The new beans are stretching up toward the sky. Baby tomatoes hang from their mother plants. Pepper flowers are changing into fruit. A little lettuce survived and is unfurling it's leaves.
The funny thing is that just a few days ago, the resident rabbit was in my garden. Then the dog was, too, as he tried to chase it. Nothing like flying dirt and plants to make me a happy person!
Now that I have the chicken wire in place, I haven't seen the bunny at all. Not even chewing on my grass, which it enjoys.
Maybe eating in my garden is just too much effort now, and he has moved on to an easier target.
I can sit back and enjoy my growing garden now.
Except, I see my new nemesis - weeds! They're popping up all over!
