I just approved a comment that someone left.  I don't know the person, but I did visit her blog.  She has a great blog, with a wealth of information and full articles.  So, I think she is a credible person, however the comment looks to me as if it could be joking.  Maybe she is joking, or maybe she's referring to the main site, www.faith-filled.com, and she really means it (in which case, I do apologize for thinking she may be joking.)  I'm not used to being complimented. 

In any case, I thought about this blog itself and its name.  It's called faith-filled blog ONLY because it is linked to the main site.  It's not supposed to be a blog about faith, though I suppose that may happen upon occasion, because my faith is not separate from my writing, working life or personal life, which are the topics found here.

The main purpose of this blog (at this point in time) is to serve as an overflow from the main site, and to be a place I can post more personal things.  I'm going to revamp the faith-filled site to have just articles, rather than short tips.  People can come here and post their own tips if they want.  Then, I can work them into a future article.  That would be very useful!  So, feel free to make a comment under the latest blog entry, if you have some family, classroom, or journal ideas.  I will most certainly use them when I can. 

A secondary purpose to the blog, as I stated above is to post more personal things that are passions of mine.  So, right now, I post about my writing.  I do like to post that, because I want to eventually become a full-time writer.  This summer, I'm getting a good taste of the full-time writing life.  I've been writing like crazy and submitting regularly.  I've had some editors request my work, which is such an ego-boost, I can't even tell you!!  So, by telling my blog (and anyone who reads it) about my successes in writing, I get to feel successful.  And, if my garden and dog are taking up my thoughts, you'll hear about them as well.  It's a more personal side to me, that I don't always express. 

I am going to start posting more articles on my blog.  They will be articles that I have written or have gotten permission to reprint.  If they work into my main site, then they will appear there for sure.  But, if it's something that doesn't quite fit, but I like and value and want to share, I'll post it here.
