I'm working behind the scenes here.  Every day I do something to the site to make it work better.  The graphics and color are much improved.  I switched templates and am okay with the new one, but not completely enthusiastic.  I may change it again before I hit "publish." 
This blog has been changed a little.  It fits into the new mood of the website.  Do you like it?  I really do, so I think I'm heading in the right direction with colors and graphics.
I've been consulting with some writers who have sites that are much better than mine.  I asked them to give me some feedback.  They have encouraged me to streamline the look (done!) and tighten the content.  The one writer who is an expert in this area, said I should consider focusing my content instead of covering such broad areas like teaching, parenting, and kids' journal-writing.  I have to put some thought into that.  I really don't know what I'd give up at this point.
