School activities

Part of me says that it's enough just to teach.  It really is! Planning, teaching, researching, grading, discipline, recess, parents -- it's more than enough for one person to handle every day.

But, then the other part of me says that it's so cool to do the extra-curriculars that I enjoy so much. I'm not a sports fanatic and am totally uncoordinated and out-of-shape, so my EC's of choice are writing club, book club, musical, and stuff like that.

So, how do I balance the teaching with the EC's with my family (I have two kids who like sports and need to do homework, eat, and sleep.) And, what about my church and my husband?

Lord, can I really do it all?

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.  (Philippians 4:13)

So, while I can't be superteacher or supermom or superwife, and certainly not superwoman, I do have the strength of our Almighty God, so I can do anything He wants me to do.

Now, to determine what is God's will, and what is simply exhausting . . .
