P/T conferences done for another year - whew!
Yes! Three more good parent/teacher conferences followed.
I might even call them better than good. They were productive, respectful, and nice. Nice parents who respect the teacher - oh, yeah! Quite a treasure for me!
I'm not saying parents can't disagree with me or question me. I'm just saying that I would like them to do it nicely! What's wrong with that?
This year, I had parents come in with concerns. They expressed them in a pleasant, peaceful manner. I explained my perception of the issues. They gave me more feedback. We made plans for more success in the future.
Perfect! Exactly what a P/T conference should be. Everyone's needs are met.
And no one walks away angry (or runs away crying!)
I would have posted last night, but I fell asleep at an embarrassingly early hour.
