The ham radio field day location got changed a few times, and so our arrangements with Grandma got changed, too.

I was a bit upset that I couldn't get my little nature retreat (just me - no kids,) but we've made the best of it.

I made an announcement that we were going to have Camp Hovland.  The girls thought that name was either too boring or too embarrassing, so we made a list of some of our favorite camping things: fire, water, Frisbees, reading, napping, tent, board games, etc. We took parts of some of the words and came up with this:

Camp S'MoreWaBeeCanopoly Land.  We've had fun so far, and I still got some quiet time to myself.
