Saturday's Book Recommendation: Piper Reed Navy Brat by Kimberly Willis Holt
Piper Reed Navy Brat is a charming book that is great for the middle child or anyone who is moving. My younger daughter is reading it right now. I think she's a lot like the main character, even though she's not a middle child.
Piper is a spunky nine year-old whose military family is moving yet again. She rolls with the changes quite well, but readers will see that moving isn't really easy for anyone - even those who've done it many times.
